2026 Primary Endorsements
ERID members recenlty voted on our June 2026 Primary Election Endorsements. Our slate of endorsed candidates is:
New York State 12th Congressional District: Micah Lasher
New York State 59th Senate District: Kristen Gonzalez
New York State 74th Assembly District: Keith Powers
New York Democratic State Committee: Mike Corbett and Elyssa Kates
The ERID slate of candidates for Judicial Delegate and Alternates:
Delegates: Judy Gross, Bridgette Ahn, Sara Valenzuela, Amy Adelman, Rupal Kakkad, Charles Arnold, Ben Wetzler.
Alternates: Molly Hollister, Gabe Turzo, Elsie Otero, Joan Beranbaum, Tom Nooter, Ann Levack, Lukas Florczak

Petitioning for our endorsed candidates starts at the end of February and we are working to mobilize ERID more than ever before! Sign up with the link below to let us know your availability. You can sign up for "Street General Public Canvassing" and/or "Take Home Sheets". Street Canvassing involves at least a one hour shift outdoors in a high traffic location with at least one other volunteer. "Take Home Sheets" involves working on your own time/schedule to have your family, friends and neighbors sign. You can participate in either or both.

February 8 - Micah Lasher Open House
Micah Lasher would like to invite you to an Open House this coming Sunday, February 8, from 12-2PM, at Sundays Well, 360 Third Avenue (between 26th and 27th streets). There will be food, drinks, and plenty of good conversation, so please join him and feel free to bring your friends and neighbors.

February 22- Brad Hoylman-Sigal Inauguration and Borough Convention
Brad Hoylman-Sigal invites all members you to the Manhattan Borough President Inauguration Celebration and Borough Convention.
Join the celebration on Sunday, February 22 at Alice Tully Hall as Manhattan Borough President Brad Hoylman-Sigal is sworn into office. Following, you can join a borough-wide, facilitated conversation about the future of Manhattan. Bring your friends and family, but most of all your ideas on how to improve our borough.

April 19 - Save the Date for Our Annual Brunch
Mark your calendars now for Sunday, April 19 from 12PM - 2PM! The Club will hold its annual brunch at Leonetta on Lexington Ave and E31st St. Be sure to join us at this new, exciting and delicious Mediterranean restaurant! Details to follow.
May 3 - Reserve Your Hamilton tickets! DEADLINE IS FEB 5!
ERID has reserved a block of tickets to see the show Hamilton on May 3 @ 1pm, matinee performance. Ticket price per seat is $150. If you would like to attend, please complete the RSVP form below. If you have reserved a ticket (or if you reserve a ticket prior to February 5), payment is now due.
Your ticket price will help fund a limited number of free tickets available for young people (ages 13-23) who have never seen the show. Honor system please on referrals! More information and a referral form for the free tickets will be available in early February. The number of free tickets will depend on the quantity of tickets sold. Please note, our block of seats is not ADA accessible. If you need an accessible seat, please let us know on the RSVP form and we will contact the theater to inquire about accommodation, although the price may vary.
