Did you know ERID is offering multiple $500 scholarships for graduating high school seniors who are engaged in civic or community activities? Applications are now open! February 3 - 74th AD Special Election for NYS Assembly
The Special Election for NYS Assembly for the 74th Assembly District will be held on February 3, 2026. Early voting will be Saturday, January 24 - Sunday, February 1. For other important information about voter registration, mail-in ballots and change of address, go to https://www.nycvotes.org/.

January 26 -Regular Monthly Meeting
Mark your calendar for the Club's regular monthly meeting. This meeting will be an endorsement meeting for the CD 12 race as well as all other races on the June primary ballot (except the State-wide races for Governor, Lt Governor, Comptroller and Attorney General). Only members in good standing will be entitled to vote.

Jan 29: NY Statewide Candidates Forum
On Thursday, January 29, ERID will be sponsoring a candidate forum in conjunction with other downtown Democratic clubs. This forum will include candidates for NYS Governor, Lieutenant Governor, Comptroller and Attorney General.

April 19 - Save the Date for Our Annual Brunch
Mark your calendars now for Sunday, April 19! The Club will hold its annual brunch at Leonetta on Lexington Ave and E31st St. Be sure to join us at this new, exciting and delicious Mediterranean restaurant! Details to follow.
May 3 - Reserve Your Hamilton tickets!
ERID has reserved a block of tickets to see the show Hamilton on May 3 @ 1pm, matinee performance. Ticket price per seat is $150. If you would like to attend, please complete the RSVP form below. We need to get a headcount now so that we can determine the final number of tickets that we will need for our group. You will be billed in early February. No payment is due now.
Your ticket price will help fund a limited number of free tickets available for young people (ages 13-23) who have never seen the show. Honor system please on referrals! More information and a referral form for the free tickets will be available in early February. The number of free tickets will depend on the quantity of tickets sold. Please note, our block of seats is not ADA accessible. If you need an accessible seat, please let us know on the RSVP form and we will contact the theater to inquire about accommodation, although the price may vary.
