January 10 and 11 - ERID Winter Weekend

On Saturday, January 10, we will be returning to NY Common Pantry to volunteer duirng the morning shift. This will be our second volunteer event, because the first one was so successful! On Sunday, January 11, join us for our Winter Party which will be held at Aunt Bernie’s at 513 Third Ave (between 34-35th streets). Net proceeds from the event will help fund our annual scholarships for local high school seniors. Suggested donation for members is $25. Non-member ticket price is $75. January 27 - Homeless Outreach Population Estimate
Please participate in Project Hope 2026, sponsored by the City of New York! The Homeless Outreach Population Estimate (HOPE) is an annual survey that estimates the number of people experiencing unsheltered homelessness in New York City. The HOPE count provides critical data that helps shape how the City directs resources to address homelessness.
In 2025, volunteers canvassed nearly 1,600 areas across all five boroughs, providing critical data that helps shape how the City directs resources to address homelessness. Learn more about HOPE 2025 here.

May 3 - Reserve Your Hamilton tickets!
ERID has reserved a block of tickets to see the show Hamilton on May 3 @ 1pm, matinee performance. Ticket price per seat is $150. If you would like to attend, please complete the RSVP form below. We need to get a headcount now so that we can determine the final number of tickets that we will need for our group. You will be billed in early February. No payment is due now.
Your ticket price will help fund a limited number of free tickets available for young people (ages 13-23) who have never seen the show. Honor system please on referrals! More information and a referral form for the free tickets will be available in early February. The number of free tickets will depend on the quantity of tickets sold. Please note, our block of seats is not ADA accessible. If you need an accessible seat, please let us know on the RSVP form and we will contact the theater to inquire about accommodation, although the price may vary.
