Sunday, Sept 20: Save Kips Bay AMC Theater Rally

The Club is hosting a rally to SAVE THE KIPS BAY AMC THEATER on Sunday, September 20 at 12 noon. Please join us, other concerned community members and our elected officials to raise our voices about the future of this important community space. Speakers will include Senator Kristen Gonzalez, Assembly Member Keith Powers, Councilwoman Virginia Maloney, and more!

Sept 22: Next Club Meeting

Our next Club meeting will be held on Tuesday, September 22. Agenda includes: gearing up for the midterms and how to get involved; updates from local elected officials about issues regarding unhoused individuals in our area; Albany update; resolution regarding “lift the cap” on number of judges; and changes to Club Bylaws.

Sept 19 - Oct 31: Visit Swing Districts with Vote Blue Buses

Join us to win back Democratic majorities in Congress!

Vote Blue will be sending canvassing buses to districts within a 100-mile radius of New York City. No prior experience is needed--volunteers are trained on the bus, often with additional training at the campaign field offices. We cover everything, including your lunch.

Anyone is welcome to join us on a bus—no prior experience is required. Details on upcoming buses are provided when you click through on the links below. These two upcoming events are day trips.

Even if you cannot attend, you can make a contribution on the registration form in the link.

It may be early Fall, but the Club has locked in dates for two of its most important annual events!
The Winter Party will be held on Sunday, January 10, 2027at Aunt Bernie's (same location as last year).
The Club Brunch will be held on Sunday, April 11, 2027 at Leonetta's (same location as last year).
